Seachem Flourish Excel provides a specialized source of bioavailable organic carbon designed to support aquatic plant growth in freshwater aquariums. Suitable for use alone or alongside carbon dioxide injection, it features iron-reducing properties that help maintain iron in the ferrous state, making it more readily absorbable by plants. The formula contains no phosphate or nitrate, helping prevent unwanted nutrient imbalances, and is formulated to be safe for invertebrates such as shrimp when dosed according to directions. A single 250 mL bottle treats a 200 L (50 US gallon) aquarium for up to two months.
